Each year on Remembrance Sunday our Group assemble together to attend the service at our local church, St John the Baptist in Heaton Mersey
In my opinion this is the most important event of the year, where members of the local community gather around the memorial to pray, observe the 2 minute silence at 11am and lay Wreaths and crosses
We always have a good turnout
It is Important that our young people understand the sacrifices made by others to ensure the mistakes of the past are not repeated.
